About

My name is Mike and I am currently a student at the University of Nevada Reno. I also am a head tennis coach at Damonte Ranch High School. I work two other jobs as well, getting my way through college. I am passionate about life and sports espeacially and believe in experiencing all of what the world has to offer. I feel that I have a unique story that I plan on describing through my blog. I want to inspire people and motivate them to accomplish their goals. I have had many influences in my life that have helped guide me through a lot of experiences. I hope to be that person for someone else, and hopefully many people. I believe that as long as you believe in yourself you can accomplish anything no matter what obstacles you face. Whether you think you are too tall, too short, too fat, too skinny or whatever the case may be, you should never use the word “can’t” as an excuse.

  9. Bonjour Mike,
From Montreal. We went on YouTube looking to find some videos on Amniotic Band and found yours which led us to your website. Our son, now 9 yrs old, is born with similar problem. He was completely CHANGED after viewing your video, absolutely marvelous Mike, thank you thank you thank you! Anthony decided for the first time to openly show his hands to everyone else starting today, no shame anymore..
    Cheers!
    Alain (Anthony’s dad)

    • Alain, I am so glad to hear that my video influenced your son. Anthony can do anything his sets his mind to no matter what “limitations” he faces. His hands are a gift and so they should be treated. Anthony should Never be ashamed because he is unique and will impact peoples lives without even knowing it. I wish you both all the best!

  10. I absolutely love this video and could not help but smile and nod along in agreement as I watched! Like you, I was born with hands that had not fully developed and have also learned that can’t is not an excuse. Thank you for creating such an engaging and inspiring representation of that truth!
